Cheryl Rios, CEO of Dallas marketing and public relations firm Go Ape Marketing, wrote on Facebook that she’d move “to Canada” if Hillary Clinton became head of state.
Upon releasing that volatile statement, her social media pages caught on fire. No doubt, everyone was as pissed off as me. I tried to post as many times on her page as possible.
After calming down, a little, I just shook my head and confirmed, we are gearing for the Presidential Elections...EVERYBODY with ANYTHING STUPID to say is going to come out of the woodwork. Sadly, I think this silly CEO thought this was going to HELP her. I think she was coming out and speaking this foolishness, because Texas just walked away with the most conservative Governor and Staff, ever. She felt pretty confident,the whole world was going to see it her way.
I am a CEO of a marketing company in Ft Worth Texas. My company Hometown SEO Store is a vibrant and growing business. I started it and have been the head of it for almost 7 years. Never, throughout that time, did I make a decision based on how my hormones were affecting me. And when you look at the success I have had so far, those decisions must be working.
This is what she said, exactly. Reposted From KTVT: She stated "a woman shouldn’t be president” because of “different hormones” and “biblical sound reasoning.” “With the hormones we have, there is no way [a woman] should be able to start a war,” she wrote in her post, per KTVT.
“Yes I run my own business and I love it and I am great at it BUT that is not the same as being the President, that should be left to a man, a good, strong, honorable man.”
Rios said she supports “equal rights,” but stressed that “there’s an old biblical sound reasoning why a woman shouldn’t be president,” according to the station. Rios, however, did not cite a particular biblical verse to support her view. Rios added that she doesn’t believe that women should be “abused, or that they are stupid or can't be lawyers, doctors or run successful businesses,” only that they shouldn’t be the country’s head of state.
Every time I read this, I am amazed. This woman, who manages reputations for companies across the country is saying SHE doesn't feel confident to make BIG decisions because of failures, related to being a woman. So when she is making decisions for her clients....does she have to call her husband to see if it is a good decision? WOW!
However, as we have seen over the last 24 hours, women in America are not going to stand by and accept this type, of ridiculous attitude. They have posted and tweeted and any other form of communication available, their concerted response. So much in fact, she had to shut her BUSINESS FACEBOOK PAGE down. LOL.
Women have spent years and years trying to gain a firm footing in this world. They have been beaten, abused, mistreated and underestimated over and over. Women have stuck by their man, raised their children and been right in the trenches every time it was necessary. During World War 11, women went to stand in jobs and places FOR the men who went to fight. No squabble..no emotions...just stepping up and doing what it took to keep things going. No less of a job was performed because of hormone issues.
We can name woman after woman after woman, who had lead countries, fought in battles, and participated in many other male dominated activities. All done successfully. We have posted pictures of just a few....since there are WAY too many to post all of them.
We watched during the last election as Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann used their belief in God and Country to undermine and degrade women. Though Sarah Palin can shoot a gun and skin a deer, but she used that Bible thumping mentality to show women, though you may be able to stand your ground with men, don't try to be FIRST or AS GOOD or AS CAPABLE as a man.
Any woman in this world knows that if you are going to stand and fight with a man, you may need to have some skills. However, if you are working on being as smart as man or as capable as a man to run this country or any other country, women are just as capable as a man. They may be even more capable than a man. Why?
Because women are not natural "WAR MONGERS", they aren't going to go for war to begin with...however...because women are the most protective of the two genders, they aren't going to allow harm to come to those they are sworn to lead and protect. Cheryl Rios' idea that hormones could "CHANGE" the ability of a woman to make huge decision, like war is just as dumb as she was for opening her mouth.
If you think about it...in a household, where a man and a woman are married or whatever, WHO is the person that usually handles everything to do with bills, kids, decisions...decisions....decisions...
So if WOMEN are incapable of making those BIG decisions, how does SO much get done? I will be the first to say I am a Christian. I read my Bible, I attend church on occasion and I pray without ceasing. I do not however fall for every version of some uptight, interpretation of what my role is in life.
NOWHERE in the Bible does it say that a woman is supposed to feel inferior or be trampled on by men. It says a woman, for her husband should stand beside him and work together with him. But with several hours of research, I can't find ANY Bible verse that says women shouldn't or couldn't lead. Cheryl Rios couldn't reference one either, obviously.
In this election season, it would be great if we could actually stop being so stupid and mindless and try to focus. Focus on the country and the real issues....NOT RELIGION...OR RACE....OR GENDER...JUST THE FACTS MA'AM!
Just like the last two elections though, we are destined to be bombarded with the people still trying to reverse the health care laws, the abortion laws and anything else to do with absolutely nothing. They give a hot damn about bridges falling down or schools spending hours and hours judging teachers on testing and not teaching our kids ANYTHING about real life or educational topics, that might benefit them.
They are just sitting around jacking off. Plain and simple...Washington is a dead horse, waiting for the animal carcass people to come around and scoop them off the damn street. America is sick and tired of it...Women darn sure are tired of being put down, being underpaid and being told they can't ever be as good as a MAN, at anything in life.
From the comments I got on Facebook, women are pissed off with this crazy too. If she thought the comments she made were going to bring her business to Go Ape Marketing, I think she miscalculated....LOL...BIG TIME...she has made the Conservative women angry. She has made women in Texas angry. She has made many, many women angry.
I am sad that we continue, as women to have to fight this same old fight again and again. You would think, Women would stand together for their families and their sisters and other women. Not Cheryl Rios of Go Ape Marketing. She thinks women just can't cut the mustard. What do you think?
